My maps

We learnt how to use Google MyMaps and then we got to look closely at our own environment and locate landmarks. For each landmark we found we had to name it, write something about it and find an image of it so that the pin on our map had information on it. This is my finished map of Wellington Have you ever used MyMaps to locate places in your community?

Our composting experiment #1

What we are doing is all sorts of different experiments on composting like digging holes and putting different things and see how much they break over a certain amount of time and seeing if things break down better with or without.
WALT: We are learning to do experiments and to write down what we saw, what we thought, what we did and what we found out.
I found it challenging to make the Google drawing. I enjoyed digging the holes.
